- It was quiet for a new years eve. We watched the ball drop twice once for 11pm in new york where were about 300 families first responders and their family's then watched the new orleans with a Fleur de lis at midnight. It wasn't that cold so that was good.
Prior to that we ate at blues city cafe for some bbq.then the flying saucer for beers (they closed down at 10) we walked back to the hampton inn where we were staying.
