Caroline,
I read the book back in the 70s when I began to devour everything available to me, but usually authors like Bradbury, Herbert and Asimov etc rather than Huxley. I also watched the likes of Soylent Green but don't see it as anything more than fiction I'm not the young idealist I was back then. I grew up and it hurt.

What exactly is a "US thing" anyway??? Edited to add: btw, Huxley as far as I know was English, so not sure what you mean with that.

The genre of the book is usually Science Fiction or Dystopian Fiction.

I clicked the first link thinking it would be a video about the book, unknowingly though, I was transported to Mercola's Covid pages. That was no accident in a search of history.

It's a shame that literature, good, bad or ugly, is sullied in such a way frankly.

Chemar, thanks. I know. I remember that time.
