My body is healing
Thank you, Caroline, for sharing your mantra and the power of meditation. For me, meditation and prayer are a lifeline also. Don't know that I could keep going another day without them.
One of the therapists I listen to says that we should think of our pain not as a rattlesnake about to strike us, but more like a garden hose, coiled up in the backyard. There, but not dangerous. Not life-destroying. It helps me to think of my pain in that way.
