Hi, I am not even sure what kind of doctor to visit. My experience with psychiatrists is that they usually don't know that much about receptors, and I usually didn't get much help or understanding from them when I tried to explain this.

I thought about visiting neurologist or some kind of psychiatrists but on a professor level. What do you think?

I would also probably need to back this up with some theory, as I think like it is a pretty rare condition, as even on another forum dedicated to this kind of stuff I have hardly received any feedback after posting on the subject.

TBH I also write here assuming that there might be someone with the knowlege appropriate to at least point me to some reasearch that could come in handy when talking to a doctor. From my experience it is often worth doing some reasearch beforehand and then consult it with a professional...

Kind regards
