You sound a lot like me. I am wondering if you have nerve entrapments like I do. You thigh pain sounds like Meralgia Paresthetica and your buttock pain could be piriformis syndrome, and or Superior Cluneal Nerve and or Middle Cluneal nerve entrapment. The fact that your tests came back normal as mine did yet what you described sound like nerve issues makes me suspect some of these problems. I’m not a doctor so these are just guesses, **
