that is so sweet. i forgot if i mentioned a study. one group of people were given money to spend on themselves
and the other was given money to spend on others. spending on others gave them more joy than the other group. neat right?
i worked for the public library as a programmer and was so glad it was non profit. even though it increased my worry and depression i did feel joy when i worked as a psychologist and helped a lot of kids i wanted to give them what i hadn't received my family. I felt worthwhile.
