I've had lots of breast masses. Two removed. Mine are small, solid and sometimes painful. I mix up the solid/liquid bad/good thing. I do think he said the small painless ones are to worry about, but don't quote me. Usually, they monitor them every 6 mos on me, then once a year for changes in size, shape, etc.

The thing with removing while harmless, is they will probably come back (fibrowhatever masses seem to like making comebacks). Under both of my scars are new masses, and dents due to the tissue being removed. Unless they are dangerous, I'm keeping mine due to the physical changes that came from the last removals (I wish they'd have warned me).

Make sure you keep up with getting it checked out and try not to stress. These masses are quite common and usually nothing to panic over, BUT you should keep an eye out for changes.

Mine are solid, quite large (marble size) and hurt. They stick out when I lay down. Both are harmless and have been for 3-4 years.

Hope it helps some.
