Hi Andreas, Yes, considering his mix of symptoms, I'd certainly be making a doctor's appointment.

The Risperidone may also be contributing to his "drop attacks" that you mentioned on the epilepsy forum. If the dose is too high maybe it's affecting his blood pressure. Migraines can involve drop attacks as well and migraines are not uncommon in children who have Tourettes Syndrome.

What type of tics does your son show right now and how much are his tics interfering with his daily life. In my experience, that's what it's all about. It's not how they look, it's how they interfere with daily life like at home and school and with his peers.

Some people have quite complex tics that can involve several different muscle groups. It's often very difficult to differentiate whether these movements are tics or stereotypies such as is seen in autism. I can't be of any help regarding seizures or epilepsy I'm sorry, but if that's at all a worry for you then please make sure you see the doctor again.
