RSD after a fracture?
Hello, I am a newby and really am pleased to be here, somewhere where people know what you are coping with.
I was diagnosed with RSD nearly 4 years ago after having a simple arthroscopy to my knee. I had some relief over the past six months and was happy even though my leg is still stiff but a drop in the pain level no matter how small is a great relief. Seven weeks ago I fell down the stairs and broke my arm, the plaster was removed but after an xray it seems it has not healed and I was woken early hours of this morning with severe pain and burning and swelling in the whole of my arm. I fear the rsd has hit again and am feeling very deflated. I cant even rest my arm against my side the pain is so intense. I go to the doctors tomorrow but am really scared the rsd is in my arm. Thanks for letting me whinge but I am scared. Luv Sulu
