I'm so sorry to hear that.
Have you been taking your Vitamin D bobby? I wonder if it's low and that's a little part of why you're having these terrible nights awake. I know you have IBS but stress and anxiety can be part of D deficiency and that in turn could be making your IBS worse. Maybe your circadian rhythm is out of wack.

If you ever need to have blood tests done, maybe ask them to check your D levels at the same time. If D is too low the body can start drawing calcium out of where we need it and I worry about your falls and all of that.

On the other hand if D is too high it can cause other problems. Always good to get a baseline so we know where we are. You would know all this but it's just something that seems really important for all of us.
