These journal papers give thorough Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis syndrome introduction and show the achievements of medical science over the recent last centuries. Several are easy reads. The one from Doctors Brown and Al-Chalabi is likely the most difficult as it articulates the frontier of genetics found bearing on the discovered disease processes.
