The problem with these diet restrictions is quite simple, BORING.

Bruce Fife is the biggest money grubbing propagandist of those you mention. He makes coconut oil look like the holy grail. He grossly overstates the value of coconut oil. He took a small benefit of coconut oil and turned it into an industry.

The apple cider vinegar scam has been equally as over-stated.

Removing bad foods from our diet is far more important than adding these exotic good things. Why do I say exotic? Our diets can be improved with locally produced foods. We don't need to circle the earth to find foods to be healthy. We need to avoid the heavily processed foods of mega agriculture, Con Agra, ADM, Cargill.

Just say no to high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors (MSG is the worst), "modified" anything, texturizers, "low fat" anything, sweetened beverages, and such.

If you can't cook it on your stove, you should limit your consumption of it.
