If I had that happening to me I'd have to wonder about nerve entrapment or compression particularly of both or either the genitofemoral nerve and sciatic nerve.

Have you been to see a good physiotherapist and talked with them about what's been happening?
For quite a few years my chronic pain doctor assumed I had pudendal nerve entrapment, but when the pelvic MRI did not show up anything, and a pudendal nerve block was unsuccessful, they came up empty.

I've seen a pelvic physiotherapist for about 10 sessions but got no improvement from it. I haven't seen a more general physiotherapist that would branch out a little further and target additional muscle groups.

I tried adductor muscle exercises yesterday and afterwards I started getting sharp shocks near my left pubic bone.
