Bobby,

Just wanting to say that Bizi, said, this kitty has always been a little backward
for lack of word. I am honestly not surprised she hides and isn't as friendly.
I'm going to try to explain. And give a reasoning behind.

The black cat named Christina that Derrick adopted from the shelter he
worked at now many years ago. I am even going to guess it was 10 years ago
he worked there. Honestly not positive. But she was at the shelter, born
as a kitten there, lived there with a cat named queen that was antisocial
also. They lived pretty much together, didn't like anyone. Derrick was the
only one that they tolerated to feed them, and even pet them for years.

When it was a free kitty time, he felt bad not being able to bring two cats
home. But we knew we couldn't handle them both. And he felt like Christina
was the worst of the two. And that with her gone from the shelter, that another person might come adopt queen, which ended up happening about two weeks later. But we have two story house. And for almost two years we would see very little of her, because that was the way she wanted. So then
she would show up when she wanted, then she would meow, and say hi.

When she wanted to, Then she would ask for treats, and I or Derrick would
give her some. Then about a year later we figured out she loves wet food.
So once every two weeks, she asked for a can of wet food, and had treats
every day.

So she then decided when Derrick went to lafayette, to live with my friend.
To go to school and work. That I was her person, so I would give her the
food, when Derrick was here because the can is hard for me to open.
She knew it was his job, so the minute he came in she was saying meow over
the rail. And then she would follow me around, wanting her treats till I gave
them But you couldn't catch her for a pet.

Now for about two years, she has joined me on the couch when she choses for pets, but it has to be her idea. And she will sit in a chair across the room.

When I went to help Derrick in Lafayette, she got lonesome, and went outside.
My husband got scared he wasn't finding her, he was feeding her. He called
me said, I think I've lost her. I told him, no she is hiding from you. Just leave
her some wet food outside. So he did, a day or two later, he found her on
back step. Then she started going in the house he was working on next
door and meowing and visiting with him, to get food, and company. So
she knew were he was when he was here. Well when I came back for
a while. After a day or two, she found the way back in and is back to her
old ways. But still I can't ask to pet her its got to be her idea.

She is the boss of this house. But she and Angel our boy cat, are watching
over Jake when I can't be here. One of the two of them are always in
the house.
