Default trigeminal neuralgia type 2

hi! I'm new here and from sw england - I have a collection of neuro nonsense going on (apparently some of it they e now decided is FND) but a lot of it is my head - I have hemicrania continua (left side) and migraines, but also I have trigeminal neuralgia (also left side) and it's not the normal one with the brief stabs, it's constant and relentless fierce ache across all three trigeminal branches

what's curious is that here in the UK, the official definition of trigeminal neuralgia is only the acute version, whereas if you look at medical websites from outside the UK it's clear that there are the two types, referred to as TN1 and TN2

I've come here hoping to find out more about how to manage TN2, and whether its management (i.e. medication) is different from the other one?
