Default Carpal Tunnel Surgery

Hello. New member here.

I saw the post about non-surgical carpal tunnel surgery and want to add my 2 cents worth.

Carpal tunnel surgery is quick, relatively painless and fixes the problem that day. The only reason to avoid it I can think of is no medical insurance at all.

My right wrist went bad first about 2 years after getting my first welding job. Holding the stinger 8-10 hours a day did it. I was around 28. It is a 2-3" incision and I had a nice paid medical leave vacation!

My left wrist went bad while was driving a grease jeep 1500 feet underground in a mine. I drove a truck with drums of lubricants and squeezed a nozzle thing all day. Another paid vacation!

I am in my mid-70's now. I have small, thin scars on both hands, no problems with hands and no more nerve pain. I remember both surgeries being done with local anesthetics.

If only my destroyed lower back could be fixed so easily.
