My first surgery - Feb, 2006, removed a tiny bit of my left hippocampus, but the last surgery, May, 2007, removed all of the left hippocampus so I frequently have a LOT of trouble speaking.
And it's not unusual for me to say something like, "Please, put the bottle of magazine back in the shoes."
