Default Anyone with conflicting lab results?

Six weeks ago, had CBC with diff, chol, and TSH done. My CBC was 4 (low) and my TSH was high. It was time to order new symnthroid meds, and there was a question by the PCP as to the possible need to decrease the Rebif--he doesn't like the white count that low---difficulty fighting infections.

You know the program! He has to call neuro, talk about do we decrease the dosages in each shot to 22mcg. or decrease shots to twice a week instead of three. I also needed a reorder for the Synthroid and was not going to do that if the labs weren't accurate.

He wanted me to redo the labs in six weeks, which I have done. Well, the CBC is much better---in fact better than it was since 2004. My TSH was well within the normal range. SO-----------the question just begs for an answer. Which lab report can you trust? He said something about how they were drawn, etc. that could throw things off, but it's odd.

I'm glad my PCP is careful about these things, and didn't go off on a tangent, getting my meds reduced for no reason-------and what if my Synthroid dose had to be changed (I go through mail order, 90 day supply at a time)

It just feeds my distrust of the entire system AGAIN!!

My DH has lab work done in June and all was well. After hearing my tale, he now wonders if they really were fine. (Cholesterol and Prostate)

I get labs done every six months, and I don't want to repeat them everytime due to questionable results.
