I would really encourage you to take the time/action to let yourself heal and start making improvements. If you do not, your condition is likely to deteriorate. It is very likely that things you do at work or play are aggravating your condition which will make it worse over time. You MUST find a way to at least stop causing damage, and hopefully reverse what is happening to you. I think exploring new avenues is a great idea.
It is a long hard road, unfortunately. The good thing is that there are lots of people here who understand and can share their own experiences with you. Please pull up a chair and make yourself comfy
