so sorry that happened to you. do you have several icepacks in your freezer for emergencies like this? (frozen bags of peas work well, too...)
hope you were able to get in to see your doc. maybe call the PM doc also, see if you can get on a cancellation list or something. you never know, that way ya might not have to wait until the end of the month for that first appointment.
only thing you want to be sure and have the front desk be mindful of is that it IS a first-time consult, so the PM doc is going to need a good long block of time with you for that reason. can't just squeeze you in on any old cancellation. but schedules do shift, so it might be worth a try, bill.
sure wish ER's were worth a darn in a situation like this but sadly, for a TOS'er, in my experience they are worse than a waste of time...
good luck and i hope everything calms down for you with rest and ice. don't be a hero; take your meds. this stuff hurts like the dickens!
