Hello,
Sorry about your trouble with your permit.
In the city I live in the criteria for being granted one are very specific to one's ability to ambulate.
You are supposed to be needing some type of aid such as crutches, cane, wheelchair to enable you to access the permit. Our GP must write a very lengthy report as to why it is necessary to require a space close to the building.
I must admit though, when I see some of the people jumping in and out of their cars which are displaying permits I am sure they are "borrowed" from granny.
Something that does amuse me though is I often see people using these parks yet they go into the shopping centre and walk around and around for hours on end---I have to ask "why do they then need to park near the door"?
Tayla
