Hi Wittesea, thanks for the intro. Hope you'll enjoy being the moderator here. We should be pretty good to deal with...most of us are too darn tired to raise much of a ruckus. We do often come here to vent because if we scream, cry and spout off in front of family, friends and neighbors they either run quickly the other way or think that we have finally gone over the edge...or worse that we are "overacting".

Sometimes we are frightened, lonely, or feel abandoned by our usual support systems. Don't worry about what you might see written here, once we get to talk to others who share our lives, we usually can "get a grip" and go back to putting one foot in front of the other for another several months.

Are you a caregiver? (BTW I consider a mother with medical problems to also be one of us). They can understand the extra challenges of trying to keep things as normal as possible while dealing with internal/external crises/aches and pains.
