I'm not positive, Jen. I've had an EEG after an attack that showed mild activity and then another a few hours after an attack which did show moderate activity. However, every EEG I have had always shows something (which is weird, because I don't always feel something, heh.).

Have you considered going to another Neurologist for a second opinion, or going to an Epileptologist? If you haven't been to an Epileptologist I'd strongly suggest doing that. Not to pick on Neuro's, but Epi's are more familiar with things that cause these symptoms even if it isn't Epilepsy (if it's not seizures, they have a better chance of knowing what it is and where to send you to get the problems resolved).

My Epileptologist is not very nice. She's not one of those doctors you feel like you could hug as a way of saying, "thanks". However, she is ridiculously smart and has an insane amount of knowledge in not just Neurology, but rare diseases, conditions and other things (cardiology, etc.). I certainly wouldn't like her as a friend, but she's a very thorough doctor and I feel safe in her hands.
