My pain doc doesn't do pain killers either. The only thing he does for me is rx's for Robaxin and Trazodone. And of course the steroid shots and the occasional Rhiziotomy.
I don't miss the pain killers since they didn't work for me, and I was on enough to kill a horse.
So ask the doc about the muscle relaxants....they have helped me tons.
