I know that the nerves will regenerate and the procedure will have to
be repeated, but I'm really hoping that it takes a long time before that
happens.

Here's the part that worries me: the doctor is going to do the right
side, first (it's the left side giving me trouble) and I'm supposed to keep a
"pain diary" for a week. If I have any decrease in pain, then he'll do
the left side. If the pain doesn't change, then he's going to try something
else-I have no idea what.

Does this make any sense to you?
