It's true -- a community isn't built overnight and those who wish this place just "took off" where the other one left off without skipping a beat are being optimistic. It can take months, and sometimes even years, to build a strong, vibrant and cohesive online community. Just because we got a good start with membership (we'll hit 900+ members by the end of the month!) and postings (over 13,500+ so far), doesn't mean we're there yet.

But, as I've said, we're not going anywhere, we're here for the long haul, and I'm a very patient man. Others will continue to find us, and this community will continue to grow regardless of what happens elsewhere.
