Default Good for you!

I'm glad you are seeking support for yourself, your minister's words were very true!!

And I understand the needing time to heal emotionally a bit before talking to Dad.

My dear, sweet Dad doesn't fully comprehend my disability either. The other day he asked me to help him check the air in his car's tires. In his defense he is in his 80's and blind in one eye and couldn't see what he was doing. I started to help and then stopped and said, "Dad I can't do this either, just the simple task of pushing in the gauge will make me ache for hours to days!!" He became upset and was fearful he had caused me to hurt!! It has taken several years for him to get it and he still doesn't understand the depths of my injury; and I still want to be Daddy's li'l girl (even though I'm 48!!) and help and please him!

Maybe they are checking too, to see if we are healthy again, and back to our old selves??

Anyway, take care Dear One, and remember that we are here and understand!! And we love your sweet humor and spunk!!

((Hugs!!))
