I am terrified of horses, yet your post, makes me want to pet one! I can smell the roses too! Thanks for the beautiful "word picture". I like to see the little calves, in a pasture behind my house, kicking their heels and running.

I think I could cheer up if the sun would just shine for a few days. It rains here everyday and it is so glooooooomy! UGH! Even my Parrot and dog are feeling the gloom. Paulie likes the sun coming in through the sliding glass door and likes to look out and see the squirrles in the backyard. He thinks he is a dog so he doesn't pay any attention to the birds! OIf course he also thinks squirlls are dogs! LOL That is OK...my dog thinks she is a bird... eats bird food! Maybe it is the lack of sun and we are ALL going stir crazy in this house, from the gloom!
