People with PD usually have too much acetylcholine. It's the balance between dopamine and acetylcholine that's important. Too little dopamine means too much acetylcholine, and that spells trouble. I take trihexyphenidyl (Artane) which lowers my acetylcholine, and it helps with my PD symptoms. Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) can do the same.
Could your liver enzymes be high due to medication that you take?
