There's so much good information here...thanks for that.

We know the time centering around the cause for me...I was 20. I had a massive cyst in my right maxiallary sinus. The neurologist isn't sure whether the cyst being in there for so long prior to surgery (because I had the TN pain severely then) or the surgical procedure (caldwell luc - ended up having two and second not necessary because it was TN then...then a 3 & 4 procedure also not necessary). The neurologist is leaning toward the originial cyst and scar tissue, etc., as being the culprit in my case.

My pain is not nearly what is was which might be a blessing for me in that nerves were cut/deadened/damaged in the several procedures and my pain has never been what it was orginally though never has gone completely. Does that make any sense? LOL.

Anyhow, I have pain into my ear and sometimes centering there....though it doesn't often stay just there or originate there.

I hope you have a pain free night.
