Hi Claudia,

I have a child who suffers panic attacks--it sounds very like what you describe.
At first my reaction was panic but now I get her to breath into a brown paper bag. It makes her concentrate on something other than the fear and it subsides quickly.
Unfortunately panic attacks are prevalent in today's society and dealing with RSD is certainly likely to be a trigger.
Deep breathing, avert the focus then a nice massage is what works for her.
It is a horrible feeling of impending doom which suddenly becomes overwhelming and gets that fight and flight action going!
Good luck
Tayla
