Default just learning about it all

Hi Tena and Neil,

Tena there have been rumors all over the world I think of deaths in clinical trials. Not in underdeveloped countries, where we know things are happening that are unacceptable, but here in North America too. We don't know what to believe.

We started mentioning a Bill of Rights 3 years ago. With breast cancer and aids leading the way, we are now all the more in need of better conduct on the part of trial stakeholders.

In the above article, the doctor is saying something different from the sponsor. He is saying the trial was for safety and efficacy. There is one little line in the informed consent saying she might not benefit. She did not take it home and discuss it with anyone and the doctor got paid.

What's wrong with this picture? She lost her life.

There is technically probably nothing wrong with the picture. It's just the way it's done. With a BIll of Rights, that picture would no longer happen.

One more comment for now - from this article I learned that she got sick from the first shot.....hello?
