Hi Joan,
I made sure my girls were all checked as soon as they were born. Even my grandkids.
My mom said that this is something that runs in familys. I don't know if that is true or not. I had my girls checked out when they were born. I wouldn't let them leave the delivery room until their hips were checked. I even made sure my grandkids were checked even the boys. My cousins daughter on my fathers side of the family had the same thing. She was lucky, they caught it right away. It always made me wonder why they didn't take me to Shriners Hospital. My father was a Shriner. I worked there for 5 years before the hip replacement. I am going to join the quilting class at church. I love the quilts look.
