HI Sue,
i had my kids x-rayed to make sure! ha! i was so afraid they would have it. i had heard it does run in families too, but also is common with breech babies. you and i took no chances and that is a good mother for sure. we did not want our children to go through anything like we did. it was so hard, wasn't it? i always watch my grandsons run and play at the age i was so confined and i am so greatful that they are able and that they do not know the feelings of those bosy casts. i always think ... yes, that is how it should be, to run and be free and not have a care in the world. we did not get that. it was a loss of our youth.
i always wondered why my family did not take me to boston?? i would have been so much better off. but actually they would not have taken me anywhere except that my grandfather insisted.
oh well water under the bridge ... now we get rsd ... so much better, eh? NOT!
let me know how the quilting goes. i hope you love it.
love, your hip sister, joan
