I'm sorry I didn't ever get to New York. I was close but was lazy or scared I guess. Maybe both.

I was in DC and my friend that I was travelling with had something to do in NY so caught the train there one day. I didn't want to be there alone so didn't go. I also wished I'd gone and put my toes in the Atlantic Ocean as well but didn't realize I was so close to that either. lol

Seems there are a few theories. One was to do with horses, other was to do with a Jazz Club and the other was to do with jazz musicians from New Orleans. Very interesting all of them.
