If the damage was done by deficiency, getting B12 stores up high is very good, but even that does not guarantee repair of the damage. And when damage has gone so far as to affect mobility, any improvement that is possible will probably take a very long time and be very difficult.

Please remember that if her body is repairing, it is working very hard. Symptoms can worsen, even dramatically, before great improvement in one area or another.

In addition to that, has she had a ferritin test?
