This new group “Stem Cell Advocates” is to promote expanding the federal funding of embryonic stem cell research. This research could lead to treatments for many if not all neurological diseases and crippling injuries. Identifying and working against the politicians who oppose this research is the primary goal. We also discuss the religious opposition to embryonic stem cell research and post new developments regarding this research.
