I make long posts with quotes alot...
I have learned to hit BACK before doing ANYTHING.
Then open a new window, while your post is still there, log in, and go back
to your original window. This should save your text.
I have logged back on, hit back and it works sometimes. But opening a new window is best I have found.
This site has an automatic logout feature, and that is why I think it happens.
