It's a nightmare clouds....my husband had a terrible case of it and the nerve pain lasted almost two years. We have a good friend who now has it in his ear.

There is a vaccine against it now. Anyone over 60 years of age, who had chicken pox as a child should have this shot according to my dr. Needless to say, I got the shot recently.

I wish we were having this discussion in the shingles forum.
