HI,
i get those ... in many areas of my affected leg, outer and inner upper leg, calf and foot, and they are killers and can hurt for days after. i take tranxene 7.5mg at bedtime and almost never get them during the night anymore. it truly was a life saver. i had gotten where i was afraid to go to bed, with such fear of waking with them, and being unable to break the cramp. i also get them in my hands where i have either RSD or Reynaud's ... doctor have differing opinions there, and i do not care since neither can be cured ... go figure.
Joan
