Confused RSD due to surguries-help me

Hello, I'm new to this space and wish to find help/comfort. I had a on the job injury back in July of 2005, diagnosed with a severe sprained ankle. which allowed me light duty as alighting technician having to climb ladders, navigating my way crawling thru a thearte ceiling. Not really off my right ankle at all, and ended up losing my position at work .Come to find out in January after being sent to the surgeon, that I had torn tendons. Tendon was repaired that left me with a burning, stinging feeling. Primary doc says no nerve damage, then sends me to foot doc who operated again this past Feb., finding the sural nerve cut and lying against outide of foot, firing often. He capped it and directed back into ankle. Now the sting, burn, and numbness are all over the foot. Now the doc's have seny me to managed pain doc who wants to do ganglion injection thru my back to stop leg/foot pain and spasms. I am now on morephine, nueorontin, and not happy with meds, but at least the pain is now tolerable for me. I'm trying to do school to be employable in a new field now that I'm partially disabled....just wishing that I could run lights in the thearte industry due to being 56/57 and wanting to do that until I retired. anyways now they feel I have RSD and the story will continue. Is it true that because worker's comp is paying for this, that I have no recourse in malpractice suit for sustained injury due to their treatment to my r. ankle? Please help me if someone can....Rose/oregon
