Hi GnP,
There is definitely a return of pain with many people following an Infusion but this does seem to vary greatly on the length of the infusion and the condition of the person pre Ketamine.
I have always found it to be a gradual return to my "normal" pain but I still enjoy it for what it is.
If it has been 7 days of more sleep and less pain or 7 months I have felt better for it.
The return of pain was NEVER worse than it was before the infusion and I felt better equiped to cope as I had been giving some 'time out" to regroup.
I realise that the situation here in Australia where Ketamine treatments are covered by medicare might make us less likely to be disappointed of a poor response--after all we can have another one. BUT when you have to pay good money from your pockets I realise that the thought of a poor response and the lack of guarantee could make the decision to go ahead and trial it a difficult one
Hope this helps, am here if you need any more Info.
Cheers
Tayla
