TN from dentistry?
Anyone else have TN following dentistry? That's how TN found its way into my life. My neurosurgeon and neurologist dx'd it a few years ago.
I've read that some might mistakenly attribute their TN to dental procedures, but... That's not what happened heeeeere. It was following trauma to the left side of my face and the dentists (2 were doing the procedure since a more "experienced" one was called in); the dentists "blew out"/destroyed the 5th cranial nerve.
The loss of feeling is the most bothersome. And, to think, I thought it was funny when the tip of my nose was numb. Some years later, and I'm not laughing about it any more, since that was the clue something was more seriously wrong.
