I don't think it is the dose.
If you want answer, I'd stay off all supplements, and just take the ALA
alone one time. Keep some antihistamines handy if you get the itching/flushed feeling.
When a person uses alot of stuff, it might cloud the issue regarding side effects.
But it is also possible that you are allergic to it. In any event it is not a common occurance.
How are the twitching muscles doing? I haven't heard an update on that score.
