Hi and welcome

I too have both RSD and Fibro . Fibromyalgia is more a disease of the muscles as the name suggests, it is "aching tissue". It is thought to be a rheumatological disorder and rather than having all the insideous atrophic changes that RSD has on us, it really just presents as pain.
I can easily distinguish which of my pain is fibro and which isn't and I find I am far more able to relieve my fibro pain with less aggressive pain killers than I need for my RSD.
The most wonderful treatment I have found for my fibromyalgic pain is HYDROTHERAPY---It is wonderful. If your RSD allows it, it is really worth giving it a try.
Hope this helps, please take care
Tayla
