I wanted to thank everyone for all this extensive information. When I posted regarging my MRI stating muscle "thinning", my inexperience in medical language did not register that as atrophy. It really hit hard. Muscle thinning doesn't sound as bad as atrophy. I greatly appreaciate the time you all have taken in giving me all the information on this topic.

I do not exercise on a regular basis but am not over weight for my height. After my last PT session I am afraid of a therapist so I am kind of unsure what to do. but am looking at all the information you have given me.
