Great responses.
I feel like an alert guard dog that doesn't know yet what sounds to worry about and so chooses to bark at all of them.
Or a car burglar alarm set to be so sensitive that even gentle rain sets it off.


I think I will turn on the TV and or radio again...at leaast during the day.
I remember my old psycholgist calling tv "orienting." He used to listen to TV before going to bed.

I might not try the fan thing right away. Since we moved in Sat night my teeth grinding diminished considerably. (I still wear the night guard.) I attributed that in part to the fact that I did not sleep with a fan. I might experiement with the fan later.

Earplugs sound worth trying. I threw out the ones I had but can buy them again at a drug store.

....not sure yet what the plan is for keeping the apt clean......
I'm looking forward to having my stuff out of boxes and my own computer set up so I don't have to kick hbby off his...
