Ugh, Decreased GFR in Blood Panel
So, I went into my primary MD and had my 6 month blood panel drawn. I just got the results yesterday and in the Comprehensive Metabolic PNL for the first time she told me that I am showing a lower number in the GFR Estimated (MRD), @ 57.35 normal being [>60.00] my creatinine is still with in normal range at [1.1] My MD told me that it isn't a number to be concerned about but this is new as my liver and kidney functions have always been good.
Gee, I guess all these meds are starting to get to me now after 6 years. She didn't suggest to change anything at this time. I have started to take Milk Thistle 175mg daily again for liver cleansing.
So moral of the story make sure you get your blood work done on a regular basis when your on a pharmacy of meds....
