Hi,
I'm not a doctor, but you may want to check out the Parkinson's forum here. Stiffness and not being able to get up from a seated position can be symptoms.
Wobbliness may be PD or ataxia. Anyhow, I don't have either, but the folks here are friendly and will surely point you to a ton of resources.
