Default Jim? Do/would you go to Florida for help,

when something nearer and akin in philosophy might be nearer?

Here is one reference that LizaJane as found as a therapy helpful to her, I am aware of the process and find it non-invasive and HELPFUL!

This is by no means the ONLY or best resource? There are many other useful PT philosophies and approaches that can and do help! IT just has to be up to you to learn and know the differences in YOUR treatment, and be smart enough to know when your PT knows less than you do? Some therapies, ill-applied can do more harm than good. It's UP to YOU to be smarter than they are?
My philosophy is that IF it feels good and doesn't hurt the day after, well...no problem. IF it doesn't feel good in the DOING...STOP! and say why [usually easier said than done? Finding the WORDS - UGH!] Learn to pace yourself and work out what does and doesn't work. For many of us, different types of activity either help build strength OR make it worse.. You really have to listen to your body closely- all that it's saying to you both Over and Under the basic pain? and then go from there.

Just keep in mind that there are LOTS of alternatives, and probably someone super for you-nearby. Keep looking and trying. The better we can MOVE, the better our lives can be. - j
